Li-Yuan Tsao

Hi! I’m Li-Yuan Tsao (曹立元), an incoming PhD student at University of Texas at Austin, where I’ll be advised by Prof. Philipp Krähenbühl. I received my Master’s degree in Computer Science and Bachelor’s degree in EECS at National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), advised by Prof. Chun-Yi Lee. I’ve also been fortunate to work with Prof. Ming-Hsuan Yang at University of California, Merced, as well as Dr. Kelvin C.K. Chan and Dr. Deqing Sun at Google DeepMind, during my time as a visiting student at UC Merced.
My primary research interest is in computer vision and multimodal learning. If you have research opportunities or any ideas to discuss, feel free to reach out!
